Determine rental value
Following an initial inventory of the property, we are able to determine its rental value. By combining our market knowledge with the database of (recent) rental transactions in the neighbourhood, we are also immediately able to advise you on the correct rental price. This pricing is important for the market reach.
Set up rental file
Our experienced internal sales team assists with the compilation of the rental file. The file contains all administrative formalities and a prepared rental brochure. The file is compiled digitally, taking into account privacy legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Making property ready for rental
When letting a property, it is important to present it as spacious, light, uncluttered and fresh as possible. We are happy to advise on the right balance between a pleasant and neutral atmosphere. Naturally, the aim is for prospective tenants to be able to picture themselves living in the house completely.

Viewings are arranged in consultation with the landlord. Please clean the property, ensure the entrance is tidy and the rooms are uncluttered, and let plenty of light into the property. We always advise that you do not be present during the viewing. This allows a prospective tenant to feel free to look around everywhere and share their opinion with us. After the viewing, we always review how it went together.
Screening candidates
Following the viewings, candidates who have expressed a genuine interest are thoroughly screened by us. We take into account the provisions of the General Equal Treatment Act (Awgb) and the Good Landlord Act (Wgv). The candidate must provide us with various documents, such as an employment contract, a recent payslip and a copy of a valid identity document. We verify the information provided, after which we put forward a prospective tenant.
Recording appointments
The experienced estate agents at BrinkBorgh Makelaardij are experts in letting properties. We know what it takes to let a property successfully and quickly, and we are always up to date with the rules and regulations. Once the landlord has accepted the tenant we have put forward, we draw up the tenancy agreement.
